My Story

Anthony Martino is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey. Anthony has previous experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of individual, comorbid, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions at both outpatient and more acute levels of psychiatric care.

Anthony's approach to psychotherapy is built on a person-centered, trauma-informed foundation that places a strong emphasis on collaboration and client empowerment. Anthony tailors treatment to each individual’s unique needs through the use of interventions drawn from evidence-based modalities, including CBT derivatives and narrative therapy, to best assist clients in meeting their personal goals, reducing stress, and coping with difficult situations. EMDR trained and in the process of pursuing EMDR certification.

Anthony was trained by the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Autism Research to administer the "Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition" (ADOS-2). This measure is regarded as the "gold standard" in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessment and indicates whether a more comprehensive evaluation is warranted.
