Shacarah Fordjour, Pediatric APN

Shacarah Fordjour is a Dual Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering over 20 years of combined clinical experience as a nurse practitioner and a professional registered nurse within various health care settings. Shacarah specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents struggling with ADHD, Anxiety disorders and Mood disorders and she is committed to making a difference and improving the health and well-being of children and their families. She graduated with her master’s degree in nursing from Seton Hall University and also holds a post-masters certificate in psychiatric mental health from The George Washington University. Shacarah has worked in various behavioral health ,school and primary care settings prior to joining Safe Place and has a passion for educating patients and families.
